c.1910s a pair of “Flag of the Chinese Republic” Postcards depicting Yuan Shih-k’ai (袁世凱),

each showing the Five-Colored National Flag with oval portrait of Yuan Shih-k’ai in different uniforms, titled “First President of the Chinese Republic.” Printed in chromolithography with divided multilingual “Post Card” format. A well-known patriotic issue from early Republican China, finely produced for both domestic and overseas circulation.
