This distinctive form of currency, characterized by its curved shape resembling a tiger’s tongue, was widely circulated during the Sukhothai Kingdom. The surface bears traditional punch marks, indicative of official validation or minting authority of the time. The ingot displays a solid silver composition with natural patina developed over centuries, reflecting its age and authenticity. Examples of this type are scarce today, making them highly desirable among collectors and an important artifact for the study of early Thai monetary systems and trade history.
