1949年7月30日東川儀隴雙掛號寄重慶中式封，貼孫像銀圓加蓋儀隴地名票2枚及孫像銀圓2枚，合28分銀圓，符合國內雙掛號郵資，銷東川儀隴日戳。此信於8月6日到達重慶，因收件局誤解最高法院搬遷到廣州，於是將信件轉發廣州(8月8日)，廣州局收到後，又寄回重慶最高法院，經重慶(9月20日)再到沙坪(9月22日壩)，反應了國共內戰末期，國民黨政府機構持續搬遷導致的混亂案例。
f.w. SYS Silver Yuan ovpt. Ilung stamps x 2 and SYS Silver Yuan x 2, totally 28c Silver Yuan, matching domestic registered postage, tied by East Szechuan Ilung cds. The cover arrived in Chungking on (Aug 6), but was redirected to Canton on (Aug 8) due to a misunderstanding by the post office, which believed the Supreme Court had relocated to Canton. After reaching Canton, the letter was returned to Chungking on (Sep 20) and forwarded to Shapingpa on (Sep 22). This cover illustrates the postal confusion caused by the ongoing relocation of Nationalist government institutions during the final phase of the Chinese Civil War.
