1898年8月3日煙臺寄美國混貼封，混貼日本版蟠龍及倫敦版蟠龍票6枚（合郵資20分）及日本小判10錢1枚，分別銷藍色煙臺大圓戳及韓國仁川日本客郵局日戳，背面有美國中轉戳及到達戳。這個時期煙臺寄美國郵件一般經上海轉客郵局，這一枚過黃海到韓國仁川轉客郵局，屬於目前僅見品。水原明窗《華郵集錦》第2部第7冊第84頁實物。

mixed franking with ICP, CIP issues x 6 (total 20c) and Japan Koban 10s, tied by blue Chefoo Dollar cds. and Ninsen IJPO cds. respectively. On reverse with USA transit and arrival cds.. At that time, mail from Chefoo to USA were transmitted at Shanghai to foreign PO. This cover was transimitted from Chefoo across Yellow Sea to IJPO in Korea, which is the only known example. 1912年4月28日陝西興安對剖票紅條封寄漢口，背面貼有蟠龍1分及5分對剖票各一枚，合郵資3分，銷陝西興安元年日戳，旁蓋鄖陽中轉和漢口到達戳。 1912年民國政府剛成立，部分地區3分郵票短缺，於是福州、重慶、長沙、興安府、白河等地，將庫存的清代蟠龍郵票對剖使用，一般僅用一至兩天，故十分罕見。水原明窗《華郵集錦》第2部第8冊第8頁實物。
