f.w. Silver Yuan 10¢ x 2. Arrived at Chungking on Oct 5 with arrival postmark, then reforwarded to the Supreme Court’s office location, bearing an additional “東川三八年十月六日沙坪壩” receiving mark. (Given the difficult wartime conditions, mail from remote inland areas was conveyed with great hardship and delay.)
Reverse bears revalued Silver Yuan 4¢ revenue stamps x 11 used as postage, together with one Chungking South China issue Dr. Sun Yat-sen 1¢ stamp, all tied by Sandu cds, with Chungking (Oct 26) and Tungchuan Shapingpa (Oct 27) transits. Correctly franked for the domestic rate: 5¢ surface postage + 20¢ double registration + 10¢ airmail + 10¢ return receipt. Superb condition.
f.w. Silver Yuan 35¢ postage (rate indicating double registration, though the marking is missing). It arrived at the Kunming Post Office on Oct 30, 1949, and was officially received by the addressee on Oct 31 of the same year.
f.w. Silver Yuan 5¢ x 2 (5¢ surface postage plus 5¢ express fee), arriving on Nov 15 of the same year, bearing an early Kunming machine cancellation alongside.
f.w. one unit stamp. Mail originating from the remote Chengkung area is seldom seen, and as the postmark was used only a few times, its characters are exceptionally clear and well-defined, making this a desirable example.

f.w. Silver Yuan 35¢ postage. It arrived at the Kunming Post Office on Nov 19 and was received by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on Nov 21 of the same year. Bearing postmarks of “雲南華寧戳” and “昆明到達戳”, as well as two registration “R” handstamps. Well preserved and a very scarce example.
f.w. Silver Yuan 5¢ x 4. Due to difficult transportation in the area, the mail had to be carried on foot and was delivered only on Dec 7 of the same year, shortly before the regime change.
uprated by CIP 1c, ICP 2c and Hong Kong QV 2c pair, tied by Shanghai Pukua marking and Br. PO cds. respectively, along with Hong Kong transit and Germany arrivall cds. VF-F. CIP issue used on1898 Mar 26 is the earliest one in our record.
